Arterial grid
Broad roads such as Sunrise Boulevard and Greenback Lane divide the city into large squares. They create a firm framework that holds the rest of the street pattern together.

Citrus Heights Map Poster & Print
Citrus Heights sits in the northeast of the Sacramento metropolitan area, between Sacramento and the foothills toward Folsom and Roseville. The city only incorporated in 1997, but the area was settled and farmed long before. On a map it shows the classic pattern of Californian postwar suburbs: a coarse grid of major roads, with quieter, looping streets filling each square.
Sunrise Boulevard, Greenback Lane, Auburn Boulevard and Antelope Road are the main arteries. Their intersections mark the commercial centres, including the large Sunrise Mall area. Between them, cul-de-sacs, schools and small parks form a dense residential fabric, broken up by the winding green lines of creeks that cross the city.
A Citrus Heights map poster makes the everyday texture of suburban life easy to read. The regular arterial grid gives the composition structure, and the curved streets inside each block add rhythm and detail. Most residents will recognise it instantly, because it traces the exact routes of school runs, commutes and weekend errands.

Looping subdivisions
Inside each square, residential streets curve, branch and end in cul-de-sacs. The resulting patterns look almost botanical when printed at a large size.
Creek corridors
Small creeks wander across the city. The green strips along them break up the suburban texture with soft, irregular lines running through the neighbourhoods.

Zakaj Citrus Heights
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Suburbs rarely get posters, yet they are where most people actually live. A map of Citrus Heights can mark a first home, a childhood neighbourhood or a family base near Sacramento, and its detailed street pattern holds up well at larger sizes such as 50×70 cm or 24×36″.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with your street and the year you moved in. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Check the free 900 px preview before you download the HD files or order a framed print.
