Canal network
Irrigation channels cross the plain around the town, and the lines they draw are straighter and more regular than the roads, which gives the edges of the map a quiet rhythm.

Dadu Map Poster & Print
Dadu lies in the lower Indus valley on the western side of the river, in country that is almost completely flat. From above, the town is a compact knot of streets, surrounded by a pattern of fields and irrigation channels that stretches out in every direction.
As the headquarters of Dadu District, the town is a market and administrative centre for the surrounding farmland. Roads and a railway pass through it, linking it to other towns along the river. Beyond the town, the canals and their branches draw long, thin lines across the plain.
Much of the district was flooded in 2022, which showed how closely life here depends on the river and the water systems around it. A Dadu map poster records the town at the scale people know it, with dense lanes in the centre and straight roads leading out toward the fields.

Compact centre
The older core is a close network of narrow lanes and market streets. It is far denser than the open agricultural land that surrounds it.
Indus lowland
The town sits on the flat floodplain of the Indus. With no hills to shape it, the map is defined by roads, water and the edges of fields.
