Damaturu Map Poster & Print
Damaturu lies on the flat, open savanna of north-eastern Nigeria. From above, the town is spacious rather than dense. Wide roads, large government plots and planned residential areas spread across the land. Older neighbourhoods have a tighter weave of lanes, and the land beyond fades into dry farmland crossed by tracks.
Damaturu became the capital of Yobe State when the state was created in 1991. Much of its layout reflects that role, with ministries, a secretariat and institutional grounds set among the neighbourhoods. The town lies on the main road linking Kano and Maiduguri, which crosses the map from west to east.
A Damaturu map poster sets the broad lines of an administrative capital against the looser pattern of older quarters. In black and white, generous open spaces and long straight roads give the print an airy, spacious look.

Government quarters
Large institutional plots and wide avenues mark the town's role as state capital. They appear as broad, orderly shapes among the residential streets.
Savanna margins
Beyond the built-up area, open land and tracks stretch across the flat Sahel plain. They leave the edges of the print calm and uncluttered.
