Darien Map Poster & Print
Darien lies on the Connecticut coast between Stamford and Norwalk, and its outline is set by Long Island Sound. The southern edge breaks into necks, points and coves, with small harbours pushed between wooded peninsulas. Inland, the land gets more regular: curving residential roads, large lots and stretches of woodland, with the Post Road running east to west through the commercial centre.
Two parallel lines of infrastructure cross the town: Interstate 95 and the Metro-North New Haven Line, with stations that have long connected Darien to New York City. On a map, they form a clear band between the shoreline neighbourhoods and the quieter northern half, where roads curve around ponds and low ridges.
A Darien map poster shows how much work the coastline does. Remove the colour, and the town reads almost like a coastal chart, with rivers widening into tidal inlets and peninsulas that end in fine points. The street network is loose and organic, and it fills the frame with gentle curves rather than blocks.

Rail and interstate
The New Haven Line and I-95 run side by side across the town, a straight double stroke that separates the coastal districts from the rest.
Post Road spine
The historic Boston Post Road crosses Darien from Stamford to Norwalk and carries the downtown shops, the one clearly linear element among winding residential streets.

Zakaj Darien
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Darien is a place people often move to for good, and many who grew up there later leave. A map of the town makes a good housewarming or graduation gift, and the coastline is attractive enough to work as a design piece on its own.
Add a family name, a move-in date or a street to the title and subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the nautical character of the Sound.
