Instead of a strict grid, streets in the town follow valleys and slopes, which gives the centre an irregular, organic outline.

Dashi Map Poster & Print
Dashi lies in the western part of Chongqing municipality, in the rolling hills at the eastern edge of the Sichuan Basin. The land here is broken into small ridges and valleys, and the town's streets fit around them, with roads running along the lower ground and bending wherever a slope interrupts them.
Around the built-up core, the map shows a close patchwork of terraced fields, ponds and scattered farmhouses typical of the basin's countryside. Local roads wind between them and link Dashi to neighbouring towns across the uneven ground.
A Dashi map poster is about pattern more than landmarks: a compact town set in a finely divided landscape of fields and water. Printed in black and white, the winding roads and small ponds turn into an intricate, almost textile design around the dense centre.
