Dhārūr Map Poster & Print
Dhārūr is a town in Beed district, in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra. It is best known for its fort, a historic stronghold built on the edge of a deep valley, with walls and gateways that still stand above the town. From above, the old settlement is compact, with lanes gathered close to the fort and newer streets spreading away along the roads.
The surrounding landscape is part of the Balaghat range, where the Deccan plateau is cut by ravines and seasonal streams. On a map, the land's shape shows through the pattern of roads and fields: tracks bending around slopes, fields filling the level ground, and gullies breaking the surface.
A Dhārūr map poster combines town, fort and terrain in one image. The fort's outline is a strong, irregular shape at the edge of the settlement, the lanes form a dense core, and the ravines and fields add movement around them. It is a map with character, drawn from the land itself.
