Dindori Map Poster & Print
Dindori lies on the Narmada in eastern Madhya Pradesh, downstream from the river's source at Amarkantak. Here the Narmada is still a young river, and it winds past the town in wide bends, with the streets gathered near its banks and the forested Maikal hills rising across the wider district.
The town is the headquarters of Dindori district, a largely forested area with a significant tribal population, including Gond and Baiga communities. The Baiga are known for their tattoo traditions and deep knowledge of the forest, and the district's villages are scattered through woodland and small farms.
A Dindori map poster centres on the river, which gives the map a strong, flowing shape. The town itself is modest and compact, and the open, hilly land around it provides a calm frame that suits both light and dark styles.

Maikal hills
Forested hills rise across the district, and the roads leading to outlying villages bend and twist to follow their slopes.
