Zagros ridges
Long, parallel mountain folds run beside the town. On the map they form an unusual striped landscape that frames the streets and limits where the city can grow.

Dogonbadan Map Poster & Print
Dogonbadan is the main town of Gachsaran County in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, southwestern Iran. It lies where the folded ridges of the Zagros meet lower ground. The Gachsaran oil field, one of the largest in the country, has shaped the town's growth and purpose since the twentieth century.
On the map, residential streets fill the flatter ground in fairly regular blocks, while the surrounding hills appear as the long parallel folds typical of the Zagros foothills. Roads, oil facilities and housing spread along the valley. The town is often simply called Gachsaran, after the field that sustains it.
A Dogonbadan map poster shows an industrial town in a dramatic geological setting. The urban grid is compact and clear, and the ridgelines frame it on one side. Roads leading out toward oil installations draw long connecting lines. For families linked to the oil industry here, it records a place that has been central to their working lives.

Oil field reach
Roads and industrial sites connected to the Gachsaran field extend beyond the town. Their thin lines stretch across open ground and link scattered facilities.
Compact centre
The main residential area is closely built on the valley floor, with a mostly regular street layout. It reads as a dense, contained shape against the surrounding terrain.
