Missionary Ridge
The long ridge along the western edge appears as an empty wooded band, which the town's streets run parallel to rather than climb.

East Ridge Map Poster & Print
East Ridge lies on the southeastern side of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and borders Georgia to the south. Its map is shaped by the ridge-and-valley country typical of this part of the Appalachians. Missionary Ridge runs along the western side as a long wooded spine, and the town fills the valley floor to the east.
Residential streets follow the valley in long parallel lines, with shorter cross streets connecting them. Interstate 75 cuts through the area on its way to Atlanta, and its junction with Interstate 24 lies nearby. Together they form the strongest lines on the map and mark East Ridge as a gateway into Chattanooga from the south.
An East Ridge map poster shows a town that its terrain explains at a glance: ridge on one side, highway through the middle and a state line along the bottom. The long, stretched streets give the drawing a strong direction and a calm order.

Interstate crossing
Interstate 75 runs through the town toward Georgia, near its junction with Interstate 24, drawing wide curves through the valley.
State line edge
The southern boundary is the Georgia line, so the town sits at the very edge of Tennessee on a clear, straight frontier.
