Edison Map Poster & Print
Edison is a large township in Middlesex County, central New Jersey, with the Raritan River along its southern edge. On a map it is a patchwork rather than a single centre: residential subdivisions with curving streets and cul-de-sacs, office parks, rail lines and some of the busiest roads in the state, including Route 1, Route 27, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway.
The township is named after Thomas Edison, whose Menlo Park laboratory was located here and where he worked on the phonograph and the practical incandescent light bulb. The site is marked today by the Thomas Edison Center and a memorial tower topped with a large bulb. Edison is also known for Oak Tree Road, a long corridor of South Asian shops and restaurants.
An Edison map poster brings order to this complex suburban fabric. Highways form bold lines and cloverleaf shapes, neighbourhood streets curl between them, parks and wooded tracts leave open spaces, and the river closes the southern edge. It is an honest portrait of modern American suburbia, with a name that points to one of the most famous inventors of all time.

Highway lattice
The Turnpike, the Garden State Parkway, Route 1 and Route 27 cross the township, and their interchanges create the strongest shapes on the map.
Raritan River
The Raritan River forms Edison's southern boundary, adding a curving line of water and wetland that softens the edge of the township's road network.

Zakaj Edison
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Edison is home for many families who arrived from across the world and built lives in its neighbourhoods. A map of the township marks a first house, a new start or a childhood address, and ties it to a name everyone recognises.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with your street or the year you moved in, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download HD files for $9 or order a printed poster, optionally framed.
