El Dibir Map Poster & Print
El Dibir lies in the Bari region of northeastern Somalia, close to the far tip of the Horn of Africa. This is one of the driest parts of the continent, a landscape of rocky plateaus, sandy plains and seasonal watercourses that fill only after rare rains. On a map, open ground dominates, and every road and path stands out.
The settlement is shaped by that environment. Its lanes and buildings gather in a modest cluster, and tracks lead away across the dry country towards other communities in the region. Without rivers or dense vegetation to shape it, the pattern is simple, defined mainly by the routes people use.
An El Dibir map poster is a spare, quiet image: a small arrangement of streets and paths set within wide, empty space. In black and white, that emptiness becomes part of the design, giving the print a calm, almost abstract quality that reflects the scale of the land around it.

Desert tracks
Roads and tracks lead out across the dry landscape, drawn as thin lines that connect the settlement to the wider Bari region.
Open terrain
Much of the frame is open ground, which lets the few lines on the map carry real weight and gives the print a minimal, spacious feel.
