Emmen Map Poster & Print
Emmen lies just north of the city of Lucerne and is one of the most populous municipalities in the canton. Its map is a patchwork of distinct parts: the industrial and residential district of Emmenbrücke by the rivers, older village centres further out, and newer housing on the slopes. Together they form one continuous built-up area that merges almost seamlessly with Lucerne.
Two rivers define the southern part of the map. The Kleine Emme joins the Reuss at Emmenbrücke, and the Reuss continues north through a wooded valley. Emmen is also home to a Swiss Air Force base, whose long runway is one of the straightest and most recognisable lines anywhere in the region.
An Emmen map poster shows how Swiss towns grow around a historic city. Rivers, rail lines and industry sit at the lower level, residential streets spread outward, and a large piece of infrastructure anchors the whole composition. It reads clearly in every style, and especially well in Blueprint.

Airfield runway
The military airfield forms a long, straight strip across open land, a bold graphic element that contrasts with the curving residential streets.
Link to Lucerne
The built-up area continues without a break toward Lucerne, so the map shows Emmen as part of the wider urban fabric around the lake city.
