Main road spine
The main roads through town carry traffic towards central Tunis and the south, and most of Fouchana's streets branch off from them.

Fouchana Map Poster & Print
Fouchana is in Ben Arous Governorate, on the southern side of the Tunis metropolitan area. From above, it is a place in transition. Blocks of housing and small commercial streets have grown along the main roads, while plots of farmland and orchards still fill some of the space between neighbourhoods. The ground is mostly flat, so the town spreads outward in several directions without a single dominant centre.
Like many suburbs around the capital, Fouchana has grown quickly in recent decades as people have moved in from the city and from other regions. Its position close to Tunis, with road connections to the south, has made it both a residential area and a place of small industry and trade.
A Fouchana map poster shows that growth clearly. Denser grids of newer streets sit alongside older, irregular paths that once served farms, and the main roads give the whole map its structure. Areas of open land stay visible in between, so the drawing has a patchwork look that is typical of the city's expanding edge.

New housing grids
Blocks of recent residential construction form tight, regular patterns that contrast with the older lanes around them.
Remaining farmland
Pockets of fields and orchards between neighbourhoods show the agricultural plain that the suburb has been built over.

Zakaj Fouchana
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Suburbs rarely get their own posters, which is exactly why a map of Fouchana feels personal. It marks the streets where a family settled, a house was built or a childhood took place, somewhere near the capital but distinct from it.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates of your choice, and select Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital download includes PNG and PDF files in six sizes, and printed posters are also available with an optional frame.
