Arterial grid
A few major roads cross the area on a broad grid. They divide it into large blocks and give the map a steady underlying structure.

Four Corners Map Poster & Print
Four Corners is an unincorporated community in Marion County, Oregon, just east of Salem. It is largely surrounded by the city. On a map, it looks like part of the eastern suburbs of the state capital: a mix of residential streets, arterial roads and small commercial strips. Toward the edges of the frame, the street pattern loosens and farmland of the Willamette Valley begins.
The layout follows the common pattern of the Pacific Northwest. Main roads run on a broad grid, and quieter residential streets fill the land between them in short blocks, loops and dead ends. Because Four Corners grew piece by piece rather than to a single plan, its neighbourhoods fit together in slightly different ways. That gives the poster more variety than a pure grid.
A Four Corners map poster is a clean, even composition with fine residential texture. Long arterials cross it, and the fringe of fields opens toward the Cascade foothills. It is a good fit for people who want to mark this specific pocket of the Salem area rather than the capital's downtown.

Patchwork neighbourhoods
Residential streets fill the land between the arterials in varied patterns. Short grids, curving loops and cul-de-sacs sit side by side.
Valley farmland
To the east, the street pattern thins into the open farmland of the Willamette Valley. The poster gains a soft, open margin on that side.

Zakaj Four Corners
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
This is a map for people whose Salem is really the east side: the house they rented, the street they grew up on, the neighbourhood where they now raise a family. It marks a place that general city maps tend to pass over.
