Framingham Map Poster & Print
Framingham lies in the MetroWest region of Massachusetts, about twenty miles west of Boston. On a map water is everywhere. The Sudbury River and a chain of reservoirs run through the southern part of the city, and Lake Cochituate stretches along its eastern edge. The Massachusetts Turnpike crosses the north side, and the commuter rail line runs through the downtown.
The town adopted a city form of government in 2018, after more than three centuries as a New England town. Framingham State University is located here, and the course of the Boston Marathon passes through the city along Route 135 on its way from Hopkinton to Boston.
A Framingham map poster shows an irregular street pattern typical of New England, where roads follow old routes and bend around ponds and wetlands rather than following a grid. The reservoirs and lake provide large, calm shapes, while the turnpike and rail line add straight lines across the design.

Lake Cochituate
The long, narrow lake along the eastern edge marks a clear boundary with neighbouring Natick and gives the map a strong outline.
Marathon route
Route 135 carries the Boston Marathon through the city, one of the main historic roads connecting the downtown to neighbouring towns.

Zakaj Framingham
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Framingham is a meaningful map for residents, Framingham State graduates, and runners who passed through on Marathon Monday. The lakes and winding roads give it an unusually rich design for a suburban city.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a finishing time or a move-in year, and choose from five styles. Download the $9 HD files or order a matte print with a wooden frame.
