Franklin Map Poster & Print
Franklin lies about twenty miles south of Nashville in Williamson County, and its map is organised around the Harpeth River, which bends around the northern side of the old town. The downtown is a compact grid centred on Main Street and a small town square. From there, curving subdivision streets and cul-de-sacs spread out across the surrounding hills in every direction.
The town's name is closely linked to the Battle of Franklin of November 1864, one of the most destructive engagements of the American Civil War. The Carter House and the Carnton plantation, which served as a field hospital, are preserved today. Parts of the battlefield that had been built over in later decades have since been bought back and turned into public parkland.
A Franklin map poster captures that layering well. It shows the dense nineteenth-century blocks at the centre, the river looping past them, and the looser newer neighbourhoods reaching east toward Cool Springs and the Interstate 65 corridor. The contrast between the straight early streets and the winding suburban roads gives the composition plenty of texture in black and white.

Main Street core
The original town plan survives as a tight grid of short blocks around the square on Main Street, easy to pick out at the centre of the frame.
Battlefield parkland
Open ground around the Carter House and Carnton marks the 1864 battlefield. These patches of preserved land break up the surrounding residential streets.

Zakaj Franklin
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Franklin draws people who want to put down roots in a place with a strong sense of history. Many residents moved here from elsewhere and want something to mark the move. A map of the town works both as a record of home and as a quiet nod to its past.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a street name, a wedding date or a move-in year, and adjust the coordinates line. There are five styles, including Paper and Sand for warmer rooms. You can also order a print on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
