Plains grid
Straight, evenly spaced streets divide Fuyu into large rectangular blocks. On a monochrome print the pattern is crisp and even, almost like graph paper.

Fuyu Map Poster & Print
Fuyu lies in western Heilongjiang, in north-east China, on the broad Songnen Plain. The land here is almost completely flat, and from above the town is laid out as a regular grid of straight streets and large blocks. Few hills or coastlines interrupt it, so the geometry of the roads sets the tone of the whole map.
Beyond the built-up area, the plain opens into farmland, with long straight roads and field boundaries continuing the same orderly pattern into the countryside. The Nen River flows through the wider area, and its channels and wetlands form a softer contrast to the ruled lines of town and fields. Winters here are long and cold, and the plain is one of China's important grain-growing regions.
A Fuyu map poster suits anyone who likes clarity. The street grid is crisp, the blocks are generous, and the river country gives the composition a looser edge. It is a portrait of a northern plains town, defined by space and straight lines.

River country
The Nen River and its wetlands lie across the wider landscape, with meandering channels that bring irregular, flowing lines to the edges of the map.
Farmland roads
Outside town, long straight roads stretch into the fields of the Songnen Plain, continuing the grid's logic out to the edge of the frame.
