Gangshang Map Poster & Print
Gangshang is a town in the far north of Jiangsu province, in the Xuzhou area close to the Shandong border. The land here is part of the wide, flat North China Plain, and the map shows that clearly: a compact built-up centre, roads that run mostly straight, and an even pattern of farmland stretching out on all sides.
Like many towns in this part of China, Gangshang is a local centre for the surrounding farming villages. On the map, the village clusters around it appear as small dark patches linked by country lanes and irrigation channels, which gives the wider area a regular, textured look.
A Gangshang map poster shows how a plains town connects to the land around it. The dense centre, the straight roads and the grid of fields and waterways form a calm and very balanced composition. It is a personal choice for anyone from the town or with family roots in this part of northern Jiangsu.

Straight plain roads
On this flat land, roads mostly run in long, straight lines. They divide the map into clear sections and give it an orderly, almost geometric framework.
Villages and fields
Small villages surround the town, linked by lanes and channels through the fields. Together they create a fine, even texture across the whole sheet.
