Regular block grid
The town centre is built from evenly sized square blocks, which gives the poster a crisp, almost textile-like pattern that holds up well at every print size.

General Pinedo Map Poster & Print
General Pinedo sits in the southwest of Chaco province, in a part of northern Argentina where the land is almost perfectly level. On a map that flatness shows up as geometry. The town is a tidy rectangle of square blocks, and at its edges the grid gives way to long, straight tracks that divide the countryside into large fields.
Many towns in this part of the Chaco grew up around railway lines, and the layout here follows that familiar pattern of an orderly plan with streets meeting at right angles and a central square among the blocks. Printed in fine black lines, the result reads like a drafting exercise, balanced and calm, with every street given the same weight.
A General Pinedo map poster suits someone who knows the place from the inside, the walk to the plaza or the drive out along a dirt road at dusk. Around the town the paper stays mostly empty, and that quiet space is part of what makes the image look like a small, self-contained world.

Roads into farmland
Beyond the last houses, straight rural roads run out across the plain, marking the edges of large fields and carrying the eye toward the corners of the frame.
Open plain
With no hills or coastline to interrupt it, the surrounding Chaco landscape leaves generous white space around the town, so the settlement stands out clearly in the middle of the print.

Zakaj General Pinedo
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People hang this map to keep a hometown or a family place close, especially when life has moved them to Resistencia, Córdoba or further away. Its simple, regular grid looks good in a hallway or a study and doesn't compete with the rest of the room.
You can change the title and subtitle, add a date that matters to you and edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand bring out the warmth of the plain.
