Gladstone Map Poster & Print
Gladstone is a city in Clay County, Missouri, almost entirely surrounded by Kansas City in the Northland, the part of the metro area north of the Missouri River. It was incorporated in the 1950s and grew mostly in the postwar decades, and the map shows it. Gently curving residential streets, cul-de-sacs and loops fill the spaces between a handful of straight arterial roads.
North Oak Trafficway runs north–south through the city as its main commercial spine, lined with shops and services, and quieter streets branch off on either side. Parks and school grounds appear as open blocks within the residential fabric. Small creeks thread through wooded strips, and the streets curve around them.
Downtown Kansas City is a short drive south across the river. Gladstone's edges blend into the wider metro so smoothly that its boundaries are hard to see from above. A Gladstone map poster focuses on the local texture instead: the loops and bends of neighbourhood streets that show exactly which part of the Northland this is.

Postwar street patterns
Curving streets, loops and cul-de-sacs fill the blocks between the arterial roads. This typical mid-century suburban layout reads as a soft, flowing texture.
Creek corridors
Small creeks and wooded strips wind through the neighbourhoods, and streets bend or stop at their edges, leaving narrow green gaps in the pattern.
