The Nezhegol valley
The river runs the length of the town, and most major streets follow its direction. The water works as the spine that the rest of the plan is arranged around.

Zemljevid
Gorod Shebekino Map Poster & Print
Shebekino lies in the south of Belgorod Oblast, close to the border with Ukraine, and on the map it stretches along the valley of the Nezhegol River. For much of the town's length the streets run roughly parallel to the water, while side roads climb gently onto higher ground. The result is a long, ribbon-like plan with no single round centre.
The town grew around industry in the twentieth century, and the layout still shows it. Large factory plots sit near the railway, then come districts of evenly spaced apartment blocks, then quieter streets of private houses toward the edges. Beyond them, the region's black soil is given over to wide fields, which leave generous empty space around the built area.
A Gorod Shebekino map poster captures this plain, readable structure. The winding river, the rail line, the grid of residential quarters and the roads heading toward Belgorod together form a clear composition. It rewards people who know which block they lived in and which road led out of town.

Industrial rail edge
The railway and the large rectangular plots beside it mark the town's working side. These broad, simple shapes contrast with the finer texture of the residential streets.
Fields at the margins
Open farmland comes right up to the built area, so on the poster the town appears as a clearly defined shape with clean edges and plenty of calm white space around it.

Zakaj Gorod Shebekino
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For people from Shebekino, or with family there, a map of the town is a way to hold on to specific places: a school, a courtyard, the walk to the station. The black-and-white treatment keeps it restrained and personal rather than decorative.
