Compact town core
The older part of Gotan is a close network of narrow lanes around the market. It forms the densest part of the map, with a clear centre.

Gotan Map Poster
Gotan is in Nagaur district in central Rajasthan, in the semi-arid country between Jodhpur and Ajmer. From above, it is a compact town. A tight cluster of streets surrounds the old market area, newer houses spread along the main roads, and all around lies the wide, pale plain that marks this part of the state.
The town is known for its limestone. Quarrying and the lime and cement industries built on it have shaped both the local economy and the land. On a map, worked ground and industrial sites appear as large, blunt shapes near the town. The railway line adds a long straight stroke that connects Gotan to the wider region.
A Gotan map poster brings these elements together: the dense older core, the looser newer streets, the rail line and the open land beyond. It is a spare, graphic image that fits a place where the ground itself has long been part of daily work.

Railway line
A single rail corridor runs past the town. Its straight line contrasts with the irregular streets and anchors the composition.
Limestone country
Quarries and industrial sites linked to the local limestone sit on the town's outskirts. They appear as broad, angular shapes on the open plain.
