Greenfield Map Poster & Print
Greenfield lies in southern Monterey County, in the long, flat Salinas Valley between Soledad and King City. The town is a straightforward grid on the western side of the valley floor, with US Route 101 running along its edge and farmland pressing right up to the last streets. Beyond the fields, the valley walls rise on both sides.
This is one of California's most productive farming regions, with lettuce, broccoli and other vegetables grown on a huge scale and vineyards climbing the slopes toward the Santa Lucia Range. The Salinas River flows north through the valley nearby, and the Arroyo Seco comes down from the mountains to the west to join it.
A Greenfield map poster is about order and scale: a regular town grid, the straight lines of the highway and farm roads, and long rectangular fields stretching into the distance. Printed large, the contrast between the dense grid and the open valley becomes the main subject, and the braided channel of the river adds a softer line.

Highway 101 corridor
The highway passes the town on its way through the Salinas Valley, a long straight line tying Greenfield to Salinas in the north and Paso Robles in the south.
Arroyo Seco and river
The Arroyo Seco leaves the Santa Lucia foothills and meets the Salinas River near town. The two broad, sandy channels cut across the farmland.

Zakaj Greenfield
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Greenfield is a working town, home to families who have farmed and harvested the valley for generations. A map poster honours that place plainly and makes a meaningful gift for someone who has moved to the city or out of state but still thinks of the valley as home.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, in English or Spanish, with a name or a year. Choose among Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, then download the $9 files or order a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
