Halle Map Poster & Print
Halle (Westfalen) lies in the Gütersloh district of North Rhine-Westphalia, on the southern edge of the Teutoburg Forest. The ridge gives its map a clear orientation: wooded high ground to the north-east, with the town spreading out below onto the flatter land of the Westphalian lowland. Roads climb toward the forest, while the southern side opens into farmland and scattered settlements.
At the centre, a compact old core of irregular streets is surrounded by residential neighbourhoods, industrial areas and a bypass that curves around the town. A Halle map poster reads well because of this layering: a dense middle, a looser middle ring of housing and business, and then forest and fields defining the edges in very different ways.
Halle is known internationally for its grass-court tennis tournament, played each June as a warm-up to Wimbledon, and for the arena that hosts it on the town's edge. The stadium and its grounds are visible on the map as a large, distinct shape among the surrounding streets.
