Happy Valley Map Poster & Print
Happy Valley lies southeast of Portland in Clackamas County, Oregon, and its map is shaped by terrain. The city spreads across a valley and up the slopes of several forested buttes, the remnants of the old Boring Lava Field, which give the area its rolling, hilly profile and influence nearly every road.
Most of Happy Valley has been built in recent decades, and its street pattern reflects that: curving residential roads, loops and cul-de-sacs following contours of the hills, with larger arterial roads connecting neighbourhoods to one another and to Portland. Parks, green corridors and wooded slopes remain between the subdivisions.
A Happy Valley map poster captures one of the Portland region's fastest-growing cities in a single, flowing composition. The curving streets, the green buttes and the valley floor together make an elegant, organic design quite unlike the grid of the city next door.

Curving streets
Residential roads wind along the contours of the hills in loops and cul-de-sacs, giving the poster a flowing, almost topographic pattern.
Valley floor
The flatter central valley carries the main arterial roads and commercial areas, providing a clear structure around which the hillside neighbourhoods are arranged.
