Dense town core
The centre is a tight cluster of short streets and small blocks. It prints as the darkest area of the poster, with plenty of fine detail in one place.

Hendek Map Poster & Print
Hendek sits in the eastern part of Sakarya Province, on the corridor between Adapazarı and Düzce. From above, the town is a dense core of short, irregular streets, and the rural roads leading out of it thin into narrow lines across rolling, partly forested ground. The main east–west transport routes of northwestern Turkey pass close by, and on a map they read as long, confident strokes next to the town's finer texture.
The countryside around Hendek is known for hazelnut orchards, a crop that defines much of the Black Sea hinterland. In black and white, that farmland shows up as open space broken by field tracks and scattered hamlets. Where the land rises toward the wooded hills, the roads start to curve, and the drawing changes from a grid into something looser and more organic.
A Hendek map poster keeps the town at the centre, with its dense core and the roads fanning out from it. It works as a record of a working provincial town, framed by the hills and the transport lines that link it to the rest of the region. The quiet spread of the villages around it balances the composition.

Motorway corridor
Major roads linking Istanbul with the east pass near the town. Their long, smooth curves stand out clearly against the smaller streets.
Hazelnut hinterland
Around the town, farm tracks and village roads cross open land used for orchards. It gives the edges of the map a light, scattered pattern.

Zakaj Hendek
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Hendek is the kind of place people carry with them after they leave, whether to Istanbul, Germany or further away. A map of its streets is a plain, honest reminder of home, a family's roots or years spent in the region, and it avoids postcard imagery entirely.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example to add a family name or a year, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD files cost $9, or you can order a printed poster, framed if you like.
