Dense town centre
The older streets are narrow and closely set. They form a tight cluster of lines at the heart of the map that stands out clearly against the open land around it.

Hirekerūr Map Poster & Print
Hirekerūr is a taluk headquarters in Haveri district, in the northwest of Karnataka. From above, the town is a dense centre of narrow streets and closely packed plots, with roads leaving it in several directions toward the surrounding villages. The built area thins quickly at the edges, where the map turns into fields and the irregular lines of rural tracks.
In Kannada the name is commonly read as the town of the big tank. It is a reminder of how much settlement on the Deccan plateau has depended on stored water. Tanks, reservoirs built to hold the monsoon rain, appear throughout the landscape here, and on a map they show as clean, open shapes among the fields.
As an administrative and market centre, Hirekerūr serves the villages around it, and its roads show that role: they radiate outward instead of forming a regular grid. A Hirekerūr map poster keeps the composition simple. It shows the knot of streets at the centre and the network of routes that connects the town to the countryside.

Radiating roads
Roads leave town toward neighbouring villages and taluks, spreading outward like spokes and giving the poster a sense of direction beyond the town itself.
Tanks and water
Water bodies in the area read as smooth, open shapes among the field boundaries, echoing how much the region relies on stored monsoon water.
