Subdivision patterns
Neighbourhoods are laid out as curving streets, loops and cul-de-sacs, each tract with its own geometry. Together they form a dense, ornamental texture unlike an older town grid.

Horizon City Map Poster & Print
Horizon City sits in El Paso County, Texas, on the open desert east of El Paso and a short distance from the border with Mexico. It began as a planned land development in the second half of the twentieth century and has grown quickly since, as new subdivisions spread outward across the flat ground.
That history is easy to read from above. Rather than a traditional grid, the map is made of curving residential streets, cul-de-sacs and looping crescents, stitched together by a few long, straight arterial roads. Between the finished neighbourhoods, wide empty tracts of desert still show as blank space, marking where the next phase might go.
A Horizon City map poster captures a town still being drawn. The contrast between intricate subdivision patterns and bare desert gives the print a strong graphic quality, almost like a plan on a drafting table. For families who have moved here as El Paso has grown eastward, it is a record of a new home taking shape.

Arterial roads
A few long, straight roads cut across the suburb and link it back toward El Paso. They act as the frame that holds the curving neighbourhoods in place.
Open desert
Undeveloped Chihuahuan Desert still surrounds and interrupts the built areas. On the poster these stretches become clean white fields that make the street patterns stand out.

Zakaj Horizon City
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Horizon City is where many people have bought a first house or raised a family in recent decades. A map of it marks that chapter: the street you moved onto, the new school, the desert light at the end of the road. It also makes a thoughtful housewarming gift.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a name or move-in date, and edit the coordinates line. The five styles include Blueprint, which suits the planned layout, and Sand, which echoes the desert. Download HD files for $9 or order a matte print.
