Houhai Map Poster & Print
Houhai sits in Shenzhen's Nanshan district, on land along the eastern shore of Shenzhen Bay. Much of this ground was reclaimed from the sea in recent decades, and the map shows it: broad avenues laid out in a deliberate grid, large blocks, and a smooth engineered coastline instead of a natural one.
The waterfront is lined with a long coastal park, and across the water lies Hong Kong's New Territories, reached by the Shenzhen Bay Bridge a short way to the west. Inland, the district forms part of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the world, and its streets reflect that planning at scale.
A Houhai map poster captures a very contemporary kind of city. The lines are straight and generous, interchanges and metro corridors cut through the blocks, and the bay gives the print a wide open edge. It is a portrait of a place built quickly and with intent, rendered in quiet black and white.

Planned boulevard grid
Wide avenues divide the district into large, regular blocks, a layout typical of new development in Shenzhen and strikingly clear from above.
Bridge toward Hong Kong
The Shenzhen Bay Bridge crosses the water nearby, a single long line connecting Nanshan to Hong Kong and a strong focal point at the edge of the frame.

Zakaj Houhai
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Houhai is where many people moved to start a career or a family in Shenzhen. A map of its grid and waterfront marks that chapter, whether it is a first apartment, an office, or a walk along the bay.
The title, subtitle and coordinates are fully editable, so you can add an address or a date. Choose between Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the district's planned geometry particularly well.
