Right-angled roads
Main roads cross the flat terrain in long, straight lines, meeting at clean intersections. They give the map a strong structure that works well in the Blueprint style.

Zemljevid
Houzhen Map Poster & Print
Houzhen is in Shouguang, a county-level city of Weifang in Shandong Province, on the low plain that runs down to the southern shore of Laizhou Bay. The land is almost perfectly flat, so the map is defined by man-made geometry: straight roads, rectangular blocks and field boundaries set out across open land.
The northern part of Shouguang is known for salt production and related chemical industry. Toward the coast, the landscape shifts from farmland to evaporation ponds and industrial sites. Shouguang as a whole is widely known for vegetable growing, and greenhouse rows are common across the wider area. Houzhen's own streets form a compact grid within this larger pattern.
A Houzhen map poster draws out the regularity of the plain. Long roads cross the frame at right angles, industrial and farm plots form a mosaic of rectangles, and channels add occasional diagonal lines. It is a spare, graphic image of how a coastal Shandong town is organised from above.

Salt and industry
Toward Laizhou Bay, evaporation ponds and industrial sites form large, evenly divided blocks. The result is a geometric pattern unlike the town's streets.
Coastal plain
Low, level land stretches in every direction with few natural obstacles. Farmland, channels and settlements spread evenly across the whole composition.

Zakaj Houzhen
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For people who work in the salt and chemical industries or whose families have farmed near Laizhou Bay, Houzhen is simply home. A map of the town is a restrained way to mark that connection, clear enough to read at a glance and detailed enough to find one's own street.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, and there are five styles to choose from. Digital HD files cost $9 and include every size from 30×40 cm to 24×36″. A free 900 px preview lets you check the result first.
