Huangdi Map Poster & Print
Huangdi lies in the southwest of Xinjiang, China, on the western edge of the Tarim Basin, where rivers from the surrounding mountains support oasis farming. On the map, the settlement appears as a cluster of streets set within a wide, carefully divided pattern of fields.
Life in this region depends on irrigation, and the landscape shows it clearly: straight channels, tree-lined roads and long rectangular plots stretching across the flat oasis land. Beyond the cultivated area, the terrain becomes drier and more open.
A Huangdi map poster turns this oasis landscape into a striking design. The small built-up centre, the strong lines of roads and water channels and the regular strips of fields combine into a geometric composition that shows how people have shaped the land around them.

Field strips
Narrow rectangular plots of farmland spread in every direction, creating a regular, almost woven pattern around the settlement.
Oasis edge
Where the irrigated land ends, the map opens into drier terrain, marking the boundary between cultivation and the basin beyond.
