Town quarters
Ijebu-Igbo grew from several traditional quarters. On the map their dense clusters of lanes merge into one built-up area, but you can still see the joins in the shifting street pattern.

Ijebu-Igbo Map Poster & Print
Ijebu-Igbo is a town in the north of Ogun State, in south-western Nigeria, and the headquarters of Ijebu North Local Government Area. It belongs to the historic Ijebu region of Yorubaland, a land of long-established kingdoms and towns. From above it has the typical form of an older Yoruba settlement: a dense core of compounds and lanes, with roads leading outward to neighbouring towns.
The town is traditionally made up of several quarters, each with its own identity. Its streets reflect that gradual growth rather than a single plan. Farms and patches of forest surround the built-up area, and agriculture, including crops such as cocoa and kola, has long been part of the local economy in this part of Ogun State.
An Ijebu-Igbo map poster turns this organic layout into a clean black-and-white image. The main roads are clear lines heading toward Ijebu-Ode and other nearby towns, and the lanes between them form a fine, irregular texture. It is a modest map of a real place, and exactly the kind of view people from the town rarely see on a wall.

Radiating roads
Main roads lead out of the centre toward Ijebu-Ode and other towns in the region. They are the strongest lines on the poster and tie the town into the wider Ijebu area.
Farmland edges
Past the last streets, the built area gives way to farms and woodland. The town appears as a distinct shape set within open country.
