Central street grid
The core is a short, regular grid of blocks, dense enough to read as solid texture against the pale background and small enough to take in at a single glance.

Ipueiras Map Poster & Print
Ipueiras sits in the interior of Ceará, in the semi-arid country that covers much of north-eastern Brazil. From above, the urban area is small and tightly drawn: a cluster of blocks around a central core, with a handful of roads leaving it toward neighbouring towns and farms. Past the last houses, the map opens into wide, lightly marked land.
That contrast is what gives the town its character on paper. Inside, streets meet at near right angles and the blocks are close together. Outside, lines become sparse and irregular, following watercourses that run only in the rainy season, field boundaries and dirt roads. The edge between the two is sharp, so the settlement reads clearly as one place.
A Ipueiras map poster keeps that proportion honest. The dense centre sits in the middle of the sheet, surrounded by generous empty space and the few lines that connect it to the region. It suits anyone with family roots in the Ceará interior, where towns like this are the fixed points of a large and open landscape.

Roads to the region
A few roads leave town in different directions, and on the poster they work like spokes, tying the settlement to the farms and neighbouring municipalities of the Ceará interior.
Seasonal watercourses
Thin, winding lines of streams that flow mainly in the rainy season cross the surrounding land, adding soft curves to an otherwise straight-edged composition.

Zakaj Ipueiras
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People hang Ipueiras because it is home, or was home to a parent or grandparent who left for Fortaleza or further south. A clean map of the town is a quiet way to keep that origin visible in a flat far from the sertão.
You can set the title, a subtitle such as a family name or a year, and the coordinates line. The five styles, Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, change the mood; Sand in particular echoes the colour of the dry interior.
