Irbit Map Poster & Print
Irbit lies in the east of Sverdlovsk Oblast, where the Urals flatten into the West Siberian Plain. The town stands on the Irbit River close to where it joins the Nitsa, and water shapes much of the map. Meandering channels, oxbow bends and floodplain meadows wrap around a centre laid out in regular blocks, so each frame mixes straight lines with loops.
In the nineteenth century Irbit hosted one of the largest trade fairs in the Russian Empire. It was held every winter and drew merchants from both Europe and Asia. The trading rows and wide streets of that period still set the pattern of the centre. In the twentieth century the town became known for its motorcycle factory, which produced the Ural sidecar motorcycles.
An Irbit map poster shows how a planned merchant grid meets the looping rivers. The straight streets of the centre and the loose curves of the water make a composition with both order and movement. It works well in the Classic and Blueprint styles, where the river bends stand out clearly against the blocks of the town.

Merchant-era grid
The centre follows a regular plan of straight streets and rectangular blocks, laid out when the winter fair made Irbit a major trading town.
Floodplain edges
Low meadows and wetland along the rivers keep parts of the town edge open, so streets end abruptly against wide white areas on the print.

Zakaj Irbit
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Irbit has a particular pull for anyone connected to its fair, its motorcycle works, or simply its quiet provincial streets. A map poster holds all of that in the layout itself, without needing a photograph of any single building.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can be edited, so the print can carry a family name or the year someone left home. There are five styles, and the digital files come in six sizes, including 50×70 cm and 24×36″, as both PNG and PDF.
