Mountain-framed basin
High ground surrounds the plain that Isparta is built on. The street network ends abruptly at the slopes, so the city reads as a clear, contained shape.

Isparta Map Poster & Print
Isparta lies in the Lakes Region of southwestern Turkey, on a raised plain enclosed by mountains. From above, the city is a fairly compact mass of streets. It fans out across the flat ground and presses up against the surrounding slopes, where the regular blocks give way to steeper, curving roads and open hillside.
The city is best known for roses. The fields around Isparta supply a large share of the world's rose oil, and the flower appears everywhere from local soaps to the city's own symbols. Carpet weaving is another long local tradition. On the map, farmland and orchards surround the built-up area, and their field boundaries form a finer, more irregular texture than the city blocks.
A large university campus forms its own zone of wide roads and spaced-out buildings. Main routes lead out toward Burdur, Antalya and the lake town of Eğirdir. An Isparta map poster shows a mid-sized Anatolian city in its setting: dense at the centre, looser at the edges and held in place by the mountains that frame the basin.

Rose-growing country
The surrounding countryside is famous for oil-bearing Damask roses. On the poster it appears as a patchwork of fields and orchards wrapped around the edge of the city.
Roads to the lakes
Main routes leave the city toward Eğirdir, Burdur and the coast. They draw long lines across the map and connect Isparta with the wider Lakes Region.

Zakaj Isparta
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Isparta matters to people who studied at its university, to families with roots in the region and to anyone who has seen the rose harvest, and a simple map can hold that. The pared-back style keeps attention on the shape of the city, not on decoration.
You can personalise the title and subtitle, add a date or a name and adjust the coordinates line. There are five styles, from Classic black & white and Noir to Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Choose $9 digital files at 300 DPI or a printed poster on matte paper.
