Jayrūd Map Poster & Print
Jayrūd is a town in the Rif Dimashq governorate of Syria, in the dry country northeast of Damascus on the way toward the Syrian desert. From above, the town appears as a compact cluster of streets set among wide, open land, with low ridges and mountains visible in the wider region and roads leading off across the plain.
Detailed information about Jayrūd is limited in widely available sources, so a map is one of the clearest ways to see it. Like many towns in this part of Syria, it combines older, tighter lanes near its centre with straighter roads and later building on the outskirts, and the surrounding land is largely open.
A Jayrūd map poster emphasises this relationship between a dense settlement and the wide space around it. The streets of the town form a small, detailed shape in the middle of the page, while the roads leaving it stretch out into large areas of empty paper that suggest the openness of the plain.

Open plain
Much of the land around the town is open and lightly built, which on a minimalist map becomes wide areas of empty space framing the settlement.
Regional roads
Roads leave Jayrūd across the plain toward neighbouring towns and the capital region, drawing long, clean lines that give the composition direction.
