Jielong Map Poster & Print
Jielong is a town within the municipality of Chongqing in southwestern China, located in the hilly countryside south of the main urban area. The terrain of the region is famously uneven, and Jielong's map shows it clearly: there is no grid here, only streets and lanes fitted into the space the hills allow, with the town's core settled on the more level ground.
Away from the centre, roads twist along ridgelines and drop into valleys, linking small hamlets scattered across the slopes. Fields, many shaped to follow the contours of the land, fill the gaps between them, while streams trace the lowest ground. The result is a map in which every road bends, and the landscape's shape can be read entirely from the lines of travel.
A Jielong map poster captures this intricate hill-country pattern in simple black line work. The dense knot of the town, the looping country roads and the scattered settlements create a composition that feels organic and alive. It is a thoughtful image for those who grew up here and later moved to Chongqing's city districts or farther away.

Ridge and valley roads
Country roads curve along ridges and down into valleys, drawing sinuous lines across the frame that trace the shape of the Chongqing hill country.
Scattered hamlets
Small settlements dot the surrounding hills, each a modest group of lines joined to the town by winding roads, giving the map texture and depth.
