Chattahoochee boundary
The river bends along the city's edge. Its curves and wooded banks form a natural border and give the map a strong flowing outline.

Johns Creek Map Poster & Print
Johns Creek is a suburban city in north Fulton County, and its map looks nothing like a traditional downtown. Streets curve in loops and branching cul-de-sacs through wooded subdivisions. A handful of long arterial roads connect them. To the east and south, the Chattahoochee River traces a winding boundary, and forest and parkland line its banks.
The city is young. It was incorporated in 2006 from communities that had grown rapidly as Atlanta's suburbs spread north. It takes its name from a small creek that flows toward the Chattahoochee. The Atlanta Athletic Club, whose courses have hosted major championships including the PGA Championship, lies within the city.
A Johns Creek map poster turns that suburban pattern into a surprisingly graphic design. Each subdivision forms its own little tree of curving streets. The broad fairways of the golf courses and the green edges of the river add open spaces, and the arterial roads stitch everything together into one recognisable shape.

Cul-de-sac clusters
Hundreds of short, looping residential streets branch off the main roads. From above they look like leaves and tendrils, a pattern typical of modern American suburbs.
Golf course greens
Large golf courses, including those of the Atlanta Athletic Club, show as wide open shapes threaded by a few lanes. They contrast with the dense subdivisions around them.
