Terraced housing rows
Long, parallel rows of homes fill most of the township, forming dense bands of short streets that give the map its fine, repeating texture.

Johor Jaya Map Poster & Print
Johor Jaya is one of the planned townships that grew on the eastern side of Johor Bahru as the metropolitan area spread out. From above it is recognisably designed rather than accidental: rows of terraced housing in orderly bands, curving collector roads, and neighbourhood centres placed within reach of the residential streets. Larger roads mark its edges and tie it to the rest of the city.
The township lies within the corridor between central Johor Bahru and the industrial and port areas further east, so arterial roads and highway connections are a strong feature of the map. Commercial strips line the main routes, while quieter residential lanes branch off in repeating patterns that look almost like a textile when drawn at street level.
A Johor Jaya map poster turns that suburban layout into a clean graphic study. The repetition of housing rows, the gentle bends of the internal roads and the heavier lines of the through routes create a rhythm that is surprisingly striking in black and white. It is a map of everyday life at the scale of a neighbourhood rather than a landmark skyline.

Curving collector roads
Wider internal roads bend through the neighbourhoods and connect the housing sections, breaking the repetition and guiding the eye across the composition.
Highway connections
Major routes along the township's edges link it to central Johor Bahru and the eastern industrial areas, framing the residential grid with heavier lines.

Zakaj Johor Jaya
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Johor Jaya is the kind of place people call home for decades, where they grew up, went to school or bought a first house. A map of its streets marks that personal connection in a way a generic city skyline cannot.
You can personalise the poster with your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps a street name or the year you moved in, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the HD files for $9 or order a printed, optionally framed version.
