Juhaynah Map Poster & Print
Juhaynah is a town in Sohag Governorate in Upper Egypt, in the narrow strip of farmland that follows the Nile through the desert. On a map the town is a compact cluster of streets and closely built houses, surrounded on nearly every side by rectangular fields and the irrigation canals that water them. Beyond the farmland, the desert edge is clearly visible.
Life here follows the rhythm of the valley. Canals and drains run parallel to the river, roads follow the canal banks, and villages sit at intervals along them, each a small, dense knot of buildings among the fields. Juhaynah serves as a local centre for the nearby villages, with markets and services that draw people in from the countryside.
A Juhaynah map poster shows the order of the Nile valley in a single frame: the tight town centre, the long lines of canals and roads, the patchwork of cultivated plots, and the sharp line where irrigation ends and desert begins. It is a quiet, precise portrait of a place shaped almost entirely by water.

Irrigation canals
Canals and drains run in long, parallel lines through the farmland, repeating the direction of the Nile and giving the map a strong linear rhythm.
Desert edge
Where the fields stop, the desert begins, and on the poster this boundary appears as a clean line between finely divided farmland and empty space.
