Kadayanallur Map Poster & Print
Kadayanallur is a town in the south of Tamil Nadu, in the Tenkasi area, on the plain east of the Western Ghats. From above, the town appears as a dense cluster of narrow streets and closely built houses, set in a patchwork of fields. The mountains rise to the west, and streams and irrigation channels come down toward the plain.
The streets are tight and irregular in the older parts, grown over time rather than planned, with lanes turning and meeting at odd angles. Around the town, irrigation tanks, the traditional reservoirs of South India, appear as rounded pools among paddy fields and coconut groves. Roads lead out to neighbouring towns across the plain.
A Kadayanallur map poster shows the fine grain of that street pattern alongside the open, watered land around it. Many people from here now live and work elsewhere in India or abroad, and the town's layout is a familiar reminder of home. In black and white, the dense lanes make a detailed, textured image.

Irrigation tanks
Traditional reservoirs sit among the fields around town. They appear as smooth, rounded shapes that contrast with the tight streets.
Toward the Ghats
West of town the plain begins to rise toward the Western Ghats. Streams and channels come down from the hills and cross the surrounding farmland.
