Contour-following streets
Roads curve along the hillsides instead of cutting straight across them. On the poster the terrain becomes visible through the street lines alone.

Kafr Qari‘ Map Poster & Print
Kafr Qari‘ is a town in the Wadi Ara area of northern Israel, in the Haifa District, where the coastal plain rises into low hills. From above, its streets don't form a grid. They wind along the slopes, climb the ridges and cross the small valleys between them, so the street plan closely traces the land underneath.
The oldest parts of town sit close together, and newer housing has spread along the surrounding hillsides. Much of the road pattern is made up of short, bending streets that branch off a few main routes. Farmland and open slopes fill the edges of the municipality, and the regional road through Wadi Ara runs nearby.
A Kafr Qari‘ map poster turns this terrain-shaped street pattern into a quiet graphic study. Without any shading, the contours still show through, because the streets themselves bend with the hills. The result looks organic and rooted in the landscape, very different from the planned grids of the coastal cities to the west.

Dense older quarter
The historic core is a tight cluster of short lanes. It forms the darkest, most detailed part of the map, with newer neighbourhoods spreading outward from it.
Open hill edges
Farmland and open slopes surround the built-up area. They frame the town with calm blank space and make its irregular outline easy to read.
