Hills on the horizon
The Kaimur Range gives the town its name. Its ridges run across the wider region, and on a larger crop they add a sense of rising ground beyond the last streets.

Kaimur Map Poster & Print
Kaimur is in the Katni area of northern Madhya Pradesh, where the plateau starts to break up into the long sandstone ridges of the Kaimur Range. On a map the town looks compact. A few main roads carry most of the traffic, and around them sits a finer mesh of residential lanes. Open ground spreads out on every side, then fields, then rising land that the town is named after.
The town has long been tied to limestone and the industry that grew up around it. From above, that shows as large cleared areas and straight service tracks that don't follow the looser pattern of the older lanes. A rail connection runs along one edge, a firm line that helps anchor the whole composition. The contrast between planned blocks and informal growth gives the plan a quiet structure.
A Kaimur map poster turns these elements into clean black lines on white: the road spine, the grid of worker housing, the edges of the working land and the first contours of the hills. It is a modest subject, and that is part of its appeal. The drawing shows how a small place in central India arranges itself around work, rail and the land it stands on.

Planned blocks
Straight rows of housing and service roads sit next to looser, older lanes. That shift between regular and irregular patterns is one of the most readable details in the plan.
Rail edge
A railway line runs along the town and cuts a clean, uninterrupted stroke through the drawing. It works as a natural border between the built-up area and the open land.

Zakaj Kaimur
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People hang Kaimur on the wall because they grew up there, worked there or have family who did. A small industrial town rarely gets a portrait of its own, and a precise street map fills that gap without sentimentality.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a name, a year or a family story. There are five styles to choose from: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. The HD files for all six print sizes cost $9.
