Kassambya Map Poster & Print
Kassambya is in the Kagera region of north-western Tanzania, inland from the western shore of Lake Victoria and not far from the border with Uganda. On a map the settlement looks spread out, not dense: homesteads and small clusters of buildings linked by earth roads and footpaths, with banana gardens and fields in between. The pattern follows the gentle rise and fall of the land.
Kagera is one of Tanzania's greenest regions, with plenty of rain, and farming shapes nearly everything here. Bananas, coffee and other crops fill the land around the homes, and the roads that connect Kassambya to market towns are the main lines of daily life. The landscape stays mostly rural, with low hills, swampy valleys and streams heading toward the lake.
A Kassambya map poster is a quiet, open print. Thin tracks meet at the centre and spread outward, and wide empty spaces stand for farmland and valleys. It will not look like a big city map, and it should not. It is a true picture of a rural place, and it matters most to people who know the paths it shows.

Farmed hillsides
Banana gardens and fields fill the land between homes, which is why the map is open and spacious, not densely built.
Lake country
The settlement belongs to the green, well-watered country west of Lake Victoria, with valleys and streams draining toward the lake.
