Kenda Map Poster & Print
Kenda is a town in Purulia district, in the far west of West Bengal where the land rises towards the Chota Nagpur plateau. The landscape here is gently undulating, with red lateritic soils, low hills and many small reservoirs and ponds built to hold monsoon rain through the dry season.
On a map, the town is a small cluster of lanes and houses around a few main roads. Beyond it, the countryside is open, marked by field boundaries, village tracks and the irregular shapes of water bodies. The mix of fine settlement detail and scattered natural features gives the area a distinctive look.
A Kenda map poster shows this pattern simply. The town sits at the centre, roads lead out towards neighbouring villages, and ponds dot the surrounding land. It is a modest, honest portrait of a rural Bengal town, suited to those with personal ties to it.
