Harbour and breakwaters
Long breakwaters reach into Lake Michigan to shelter the harbour, and the pier with its lighthouse forms one of the clearest details on the shoreline.

Kenosha Map Poster & Print
Kenosha sits on the western shore of Lake Michigan, in the southeast corner of Wisconsin. The lakefront defines its eastern edge on the map, with a harbour, breakwaters and Simmons Island near downtown. From there, a mostly regular grid of streets extends west across flat land, interrupted by rail lines, parks and the Pike River toward the north of the city.
The city was long an automobile manufacturing centre, home to Nash Motors and later American Motors and Chrysler plants. Today its lakefront includes HarborPark, museums and a restored electric streetcar loop, and the Metra line connects it to Chicago. Its position between two large metropolitan areas has made it both a commuter town and a city in its own right.
A Kenosha map poster is anchored by the lake, a large plain surface along one side that gives the orderly grid something to lean against. The harbour, breakwaters and island add fine detail to the shoreline, while the inland streets fill the rest of the frame evenly. It is a simple, confident layout that suits a hallway or a lakeside cottage alike.

Simmons Island
A small island park, separated from the mainland by a narrow channel, sits beside the harbour and gives the downtown waterfront an unusual, layered outline.
Inland street grid
West of the lake, streets run in a regular grid across flat terrain, crossed diagonally by rail corridors that draw strong lines across the map.

Zakaj Kenosha
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Kenosha is a city of lakeside walks, factory family histories and commutes to Chicago. A map poster marks the place you grew up, bought a first house or spent summers by the harbour. It looks especially good in a home office, where the long shoreline gives the wall a calm horizon.
Set the title, add a subtitle such as a date or street, and edit the coordinates line. Styles include Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, and the print sizes include 18×24″ and 24×36″ for American frames. Digital files are $9.
