Ketanggungan Map Poster & Print
Ketanggungan is a town in Brebes Regency, in the western part of Central Java. It lies on the low, fertile ground inland from the Java Sea coast, where paddy fields cover most of the land. Roads and a railway line pass through, linking it to the larger towns of the region.
The settlement pattern is typical of rural Java. A denser centre forms around the main road and market area. Beyond it, villages stretch out in lines along smaller roads and irrigation channels, each surrounded by fields. The boundary between town and countryside is soft rather than sharp.
A Ketanggungan map poster shows that gradual transition clearly. Its streets thin out into ribbons of settlement, and the railway runs as a smooth line across the plain. It is an understated map, and fitting for a place whose character comes from its rice-growing landscape rather than from monuments.

Ribbon villages
Houses line the roads and channels leading out of town and form narrow strips of settlement. At poster scale these ribbons trace the structure of the countryside.
Paddy lowland
Flat rice-growing land fills the space around the town. On the map it gives wide, calm areas that set off the finer street detail.
