Khagaria Map Poster & Print
Khagaria lies on the flat alluvial plains of eastern Bihar, and few towns in India are shaped so directly by water. The district is often described as the land of rivers, because the Ganga, Kosi, Bagmati, Gandak and other streams all run through or near it, braiding the landscape into channels, sandbanks and low fields.
On the map, the town appears as a compact cluster of streets, with a railway line and roads cutting across on raised ground. Around it, meandering river courses and old channels dominate the surrounding sheet. Floods are a regular part of life here, and embankments and elevated routes are easy to trace.
A Khagaria map poster is really a portrait of rivers, with a town set among them. The curving water lines contrast beautifully with the straighter roads and rail, and in black and white the composition has an almost calligraphic quality. It suits anyone with roots in this watery corner of Bihar.

Compact town
