Khajoori Khas Map Poster & Print
Khajoori Khas is a neighbourhood in northeast Delhi, on the eastern side of the Yamuna not far from the river crossings at Wazirabad. It began as a village and grew rapidly as the city expanded. Today the map shows a dense mesh of narrow lanes and tightly packed plots, framed by a few wide roads that carry traffic across this part of the capital.
Unlike the planned colonies of New Delhi, the street network here grew piece by piece, with lanes following old field boundaries and property lines. From above, the result is an intricate pattern of short streets and small blocks. To the west, the open floodplain of the Yamuna brings a sudden change of scale and a strong, clean edge.
A Khajoori Khas map poster turns one of Delhi's most crowded neighbourhoods into a fine, almost lace-like drawing. The density that feels overwhelming at street level becomes intricate and even beautiful on paper, with the river's open space as a calm counterweight. It is a very personal kind of map, made for people who know these lanes by heart.

Main roads
A few wide roads cut through the dense fabric, linking the area with the rest of northeast Delhi and giving the poster a clear structure.
Yamuna floodplain
West of the built-up area the floodplain opens into wide, quiet space along the river. It contrasts sharply with the tightly packed streets to the east.
