Valley corridor
The town follows the axis of a broad valley that carries major roads and the railway between Tehran and the northwest. This gives the map a strong horizontal direction.

Khorramdarreh Map Poster & Print
Khorramdarreh lies in Zanjan Province in northwestern Iran, on the long corridor that links Tehran with Zanjan and Tabriz. It sits between neighbouring Abhar and the province of Qazvin, on a high valley floor with ranges to the north and south. The name is usually read as green valley, which fits the cultivated land that surrounds the town.
From above, the town has a clear structure. The main routes run roughly east to west along the valley and the transport corridor, and the densest blocks cluster beside them. Away from the centre the street pattern loosens, and the edges of town meet walled gardens, fields and orchards in an irregular patchwork.
A Khorramdarreh map poster shows this link between town and valley in simple lines. The straight spine of the through roads contrasts with the smaller, more organic lanes of the residential quarters. The field boundaries at the margins add a fine texture that looks almost like woven cloth when printed in black and white.

Cultivated edges
Irrigated fields and orchards come right up to the built area. The town's outline is soft and uneven as a result, with small plots stitched along its edges.
Residential lanes
Behind the main roads, narrower lanes and dead ends form a dense, irregular mesh. The pattern is typical of Iranian towns that grew out of older village cores.

Zakaj Khorramdarreh
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For anyone from Khorramdarreh, or with family there, this map is a reminder of a place that almost never appears on printed wall art. The long shape of the town and the field patterns around it make an image that is both personal and strongly graphic.
You can write your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, such as a family name and a year. Pick one of five styles to suit the room: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand echoes the dry summer tones of the valley.
